YES! The policies I have in my contract are client satisfaction driven. The major policy that ensures you will be happy with your website is my "Pay on Approval" policy. To get started, I require a deposit (the amount will depend on the total cost of the website). The final balance isn't due until you approve everything. When I begin working with you, I make sure I understand your vision prior to starting the design. When I am proud of the design, I upload it for your evaluation. From there, you tell me everything you would like added and changed. It is a work in progress until you are thrilled with the result, and only then is the final balance due.
I price my services on a per project basis. As an independent web designer, my rates are flexible and competetive. An exclusive custom website can range from several hundred dollars to several thousand dollars, depending on the scope of the project. The best thing for you to do is fill out my Name Your Price form. If your price is reasonable for the work involved, I'll be happy to take on your project. If your price is too low for the work involved, I'll offer my services at what I feel is a fair price.
Website maintenance is determined on a per project basis. For websites with larger budgets, I will gladly throw in a generous amount of free website maintenance.
Since I do not provide hosting or domain registration, I do not charge any monthly fees. You will purchase your own domain and hosting, which puts you in total control. It costs next to nothing to register and host a domain. As your web designer I will gladly help you choose a domain name and determine the best hosting account.
This of course depends on the size of the project. For large projects (20+ pages), I typically have a turn around time of 30-35 days. For smaller projects turn around time is usually 7-14 days. This will depend on my schedule, your deadline, and how quickly I receive all the content that is to be provided.
I work with clients all over the United States, and I can work with international clients as well. I am based out of Maui, Hawaii. If you are hesitant about working with a web designer long distance, I ask that you judge me by my portfolio and my policies. I would be happy to provide references, so you can verify my professionalism and commitment to my clients.
